Business challenge
Access were looking to optimise their software offering and pricing structure within Australia’s accountancy sector to maximise their appeal and attract new customers. The core focus of the research was a ‘hero’ bundle plus 8 individual modules of the accountancy software.
Our approach
We conducted a robust quantitative survey of senior personnel of accountancy practices
- N=201
- We included a Price Sensitivity Meter exercise.
- All were accountancy software users and/ or purchase decision makers in Australia-based accountancy practices not larger than 200 employees, senior accountants or above.
- Mix of business sizes
Participants were recruited from representative online panels.
Outcome
We were able to ascertain the price sensitivity of 8 different modules, as well as the levels of importance of different standard/advanced features within each module.
