In preparation for a meeting with Tesco, our client, CCEP required quotes and video vox-pops to hear opinions directly from the shopper about their shopping experience, perceptions of their brands, and attitudes towards sustainability.

Mix of two different approaches:
- We gave a total of 63 respondents WhatsApp tasks in which they would respond in either text or video format, depending on the question.
- We also did 31 Store Exits involved interviewers filming short interviews with respondents who had just purchased a soft drink in a relevant store.
Key topics covered included:
Introductions, loyalty, shopping experience, in-store experience and sustainability.
Outcome
The insights from our research allowed our client to understand what shoppers are looking for when purchasing soft drinks, reasons for purchasing different brands and what is key when it comes to sustainability. We also provided our client with many videos from the qualitative tasks so they could hear about experiences directly from the respondents.
